Broadleaf was formed in 1990 as a specialist sheltered and retirement housing management company with the express objective of offering a flexible, commercial approach to management issues tailored to each individual development's needs.

All of our policies and procedures comply with the requirements of the Code of Practice for Private Sheltered Housing issued by our industry body, The Association of Retirement Housing Managers, an organisation of which Broadleaf is a full member.

Based in the beautiful New Forest in Burley, Hampshire, Broadleaf currently manages just under 1,000 individual properties in developments throughout Southern, Eastern and South West England. Our experience spans the retirement housing spectrum and includes two developments in the grounds of residential care homes, as well as mixed developments of bungalows, cottages and apartments. The size of our developments range from as few as 18 properties with the largest being just under 60 properties.

Almost all of our developments include a wide range of services and facilities such as resident Community Managers, Visiting Secretaries or Concierges, Lounges for the use of residents, friends and family, a guest suite for overnight visits, laundry rooms and even a hairdressing salon.

Accordingly, the performance and professionalism of the management company is fundamental to the success of a retirement housing development. Broadleaf fully recognise this, and that we have a vital role to play in ensuring customer satisfaction. Our current size enables us to offer a "hands on" management approach, with one of the Company Directors, and hence decision makers, taking direct responsibility for each development.

Through its subsidiary, Wilton Property Management (Burley) Limited, Broadleaf also seek to acquire the freehold of retirement developments so as to ensure its long term involvement and to provide residents with the reassurance of Broadleaf's continuing professional management and commitment.
